    Enamel PF-115 FERROCOLOR is a ready–to-use glossy and semi-matte weather-resistant alkyd enamel designed for painting metal, wood and other surfaces exposed to atmospheric influences, as well as for finishing works inside residential and industrial premises.

    Technological properties of PF-115 enamel

    • Drying time
      at a temperature of (20±5)°C and relative humidity (65±5)% to the degree of 3 (for peeling) - no more than 8 hours, complete drying - no more than 24 hours.
      at a temperature of (105±5)°With complete drying no more than 35 minutes.
    • Temperature of application, application
      it is recommended to apply enamel at a temperature from +5°C to +35°C and a relative humidity of no more than 85%,
      the temperature range of operation of finished products is from -45°C to +60°C.
    • Application conditions
      Enamel PF-115 FERROCOLOR is a ready–to-use glossy and semi-matte weather-resistant alkyd enamel designed for painting metal, wood and other surfaces exposed to atmospheric influences, as well as for finishing works inside residential and industrial premises. The surface intended for painting must be cleaned of dust, rust and other contaminants and degreased with a solvent. If necessary, the surface to be painted can be sanded, leveled with putty and sanded. When applying enamel to the old coating, the latter must be sanded and washed with a solvent.it is intended for processing of wooden and metal surfaces, for external and internal works.

        inside residential and industrial premises.

      Method of application

      • PF-115 enamel can be applied by any means: spray, brush, roller, dipping, jet pouring

        The work must be carried out in ventilated areas using personal protective equipment for the skin, respiratory organs, eyes and face.

        The preparation of the working composition consists in thorough mixing. If necessary, it is allowed to add a solvent (P4, xylene or white spirit) in an amount of no more than 20%. The working composition not used during the shift should be filled with a small amount of solvent and tightly closed with a factory lid to prevent moisture ingress, gel formation and increased viscosity during storage.

        The material can be applied at an air temperature from +5 °C to +35 °C and a relative humidity of up to 85%. It is not allowed to be applied on a wet or wet surface. The material should be applied in a uniform layer with a thickness of 30 to 80 microns, depending on the coating system used. The material is applied in 1-2 layers. The holding time before applying the second layer at a temperature of (20 ± 5) ° C should be at least 8 hours, but not more than 2 days. The thickness of a single–layer coating (on a dry layer) is no more than 30 microns. Approximate consumption rates per layer: from 80 g/m2.
